This is the feel good film of the year. The trailer of the film explains exactly what
happens. A princess is thrown into the real world by an evil witch and her
handsome prince embarks on the mission to save her. There are a number of
cameo appearances and amusing antics that a fantasy princess would get up to in
the real world. Do not worry about the beginning of the film because it is not all in
an of the film is basic at best which does make this film very easy viewing albeit the
ending is very predictable.
This film is packed with a number of songs that you will love, and be singing for
weeks or you will hate them and wish the singing would end. Despite the silly and
fantasy plot of the film and constant singing there are some other assets to this
film. There is plenty of romance as you would expect from a fantasy film.
The songs are good and the acting is as good as it could be considering the
simplistic dialogue. There are a number of moments that will make you laugh
because they are really funny or completely ridiculous. The film is a teenage boy’s
nightmare and I would not recommend they should watch this film. The ideal
audience is either children or women who still enjoy musical films.
This movie is worth going to see and definitely a good film to have on DVD.
Ultimately, this was not my type of film but I am sure that there are a number of
people who will really enjoy this film.
